Sales
New and vintage Lionel locomotives, rolling stock, track, and transformers. If Lionel made it since the postwar era, there's a good chance we've had one on the shelf.
Atlanta, Georgia · Est. 1973
J.D. Lathbury has sold, serviced, and restored Lionel electric trains from the same Atlanta workshop for over fifty years. Bring us a tender that won't couple, a transformer that hums wrong, or a wish list for your layout — we'll sort it out on the bench.
What we do
New sets, old sets, one broken headlight or a full teardown — this is what crosses the counter every week.
New and vintage Lionel locomotives, rolling stock, track, and transformers. If Lionel made it since the postwar era, there's a good chance we've had one on the shelf.
Stripped gears, tired motors, scorched E-units, broken couplers — our bench has seen all of it. Most repairs are diagnosed the same day you bring them in.
Bringing a grandfather's O-gauge set back to running condition, repaint included. We work from original Lionel specs, not guesswork.
Planning benchwork, wiring a block system, or troubleshooting a layout that won't run right — we'll talk you through it at the counter or take a look ourselves.
